Mercer County Public Files

Every single resident in the state of Illinois has vital records kept on them. NOTE - If a person wants to obtain records directly, they must adhere to a number of rules in Mercer County. Firstly, the office is only open from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. CST. When asking for records, Mercer County inhabitants must also present some form of photo ID. Residents of Mercer County can show a driver's license or state ID, as an example. Requests must be put in writing if they are to be accepted.
